Behind the Scenes of an Awkward Romance
During a recent appearance at Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest, lead actors Asha Banks and Matthew Broome shared candid thoughts on the filming process for the intimate scenes featured in Your Fault: London. The duo admitted that capturing such moments on camera is far from glamorous.
Matthew Broome, 25, noted the strange atmosphere inherent in these shoots, stating, «You’re there with an actor in silence. In a room full of people with feet shuffling and squeaking costumes.» He humorously described the experience of acting to a «nonexistent beat» as being incredibly uncomfortable.
The Theater Kid Approach
To cope with the awkwardness, the actors leaned into their background in theater. Banks explained their creative solution for maintaining rhythm during the filming of a steamy sequence:
«We ended up playing it while filming the sexy scene. We are such big theater kids so we choreographed our moves to the beat. Then they managed to try to get it in the movie.»
About the Franchise
The film is part of a series based on the popular novels by Mercedes Ron. The story follows a teenager named Noah who navigates life after moving to a new home following her mother’s remarriage. The narrative focuses on her complicated relationship with her stepbrother, Nick, which evolves from mutual hostility into a central romance across a trilogy of films.

Asha Banks expressed her excitement regarding the upcoming conclusion, particularly how the story will handle the fallout of Nick’s arrest. «We were so invested in our own characters and we spent so much time making sense of their decisions and being on their team and being on their side,» she reflected. «We were debating about it constantly. But we are very excited to see the reaction and the chaos that it caused.»
