A New Chapter for Jason Tartick
Jason Tartick, the 37-year-old reality television personality known for his appearance on The Bachelorette, is officially off the market. On Monday, July 13, Tartick shared the joyous news that he has proposed to his girlfriend, Kathryn Hurley.
The couple took to Instagram to share the announcement, posting a series of romantic photos from their recent European getaway. One image captured the exact moment Tartick got down on one knee. The caption simply read: «Right where we belong 💍».
Support from Bachelor Nation
The engagement sparked an outpouring of support from the extended Bachelor family. Among those celebrating the news was Blake Horstmann, whose own wedding in Croatia earlier this summer appears to have coincided with the couple’s travels through Italy, France, and Croatia.
Former co-star Chris Bukowski expressed his excitement for the pair, writing, «Let’s gooo! So happy for the both of you and here’s to many more chicken tenders pool side. ❤️» Similarly, Molly Mesnick shared her enthusiasm for their union, commenting, «If there was a rightest of the most right things … this is it. You two are SO RIGHT for each other! Congrats!!!»
From Pet Adoption to Engagement
The couple’s path to engagement began roughly eight months after they first went public with their romance in November 2025. Their initial connection was formed through Wags & Walks Nashville, an organization founded by Hurley. Tartick had previously visited the shelter earlier that year to adopt his golden retriever, Teddy, which brought him into contact with the animal advocate.
By December 2025, Tartick made their relationship official by sharing a tribute for Hurley’s birthday. The connection grew rapidly, and by March of this year, Tartick expressed a profound sense of certainty regarding their future together.
Speaking on his podcast, Trading Secrets, he reflected on his outlook for 2026, noting, «Everything in my life is so clear. I look into 2026, what I see is I see light. I see bliss. I see happiness.» He further emphasized his commitment, stating that he felt entirely prepared to dedicate himself to Hurley as his permanent partner.
This new engagement follows Tartick's previous relationship with former Bachelorette lead Kaitlyn Bristowe, with whom he ended an engagement in August 2023 after four years together.
