A New Chapter for Orlando Brown

Orlando Brown, known for his role in That’s So Raven, recently opened up about his significant personal transformation. In a candid conversation, the 38-year-old actor revealed that he has successfully gained custody of his daughter after she spent five years in the foster care system.

«I didn’t have my daughter five years ago. She was in foster care,» Brown shared. «I put that work in and got my baby out of that bull ass situation.»

Navigating Parenthood and Reconnection

The actor, who has faced numerous public challenges over the years, noted that his life has undergone a complete shift. Balancing his career and travel with his role as a father has become his primary focus, even though it presents new challenges.

«I’m different now because I have my baby with me now everywhere I go. Traveling is even harder trying to train a little girl. It’s fun at the same time,» Brown remarked. He also acknowledged the necessity of patience as they rebuild their bond, noting that he is working hard to understand the experiences his daughter endured while they were separated. «It’s for me to make sure that I understand her at the end of the day. Because she’s just her dad at the end of the day. She looks just like me.»

Family Background and Legal History

While Brown did not specify which of his children had been in state care, he is known to have a large family with several partners. His history has been marked by a series of legal difficulties, beginning with a 2016 arrest in California involving charges of domestic battery, drug possession, and obstruction of justice. Over the following years, he dealt with various legal hurdles and public controversies.

Brown’s personal life also saw a shift regarding his marriage to Danielle Anglin. While the couple previously appeared to be moving toward stability, Anglin confirmed in May that their marriage has concluded. In a statement regarding their separation, she noted, «My divorce was granted today, and while this journey has not been easy, I can honestly say I feel peace. This isn’t about hate, revenge, or tearing anyone down. This is about healing, freedom, growth, and choosing a healthier future for myself and my children.»
