Legendary actor Robert Wagner recently delighted fans by posting a rare photograph featuring his daughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner. The 96-year-old star shared the image on his Instagram account to commemorate Natasha's 56th birthday.
In his touching caption, Wagner wrote: «Please join me in wishing a very Happy Birthday to my wonderful daughter, Natasha. Jill and I are so proud of the woman you are and the joy, laughter, and love you bring into our lives. We love you and wish you the happiest of birthdays.»
A Story of Family and Resilience
Natasha, born in 1970, is the daughter of actress Natalie Wood and producer Richard Gregson. Following Natalie Wood's untimely death by drowning in 1981, Robert Wagner legally adopted Natasha. Wagner also shares a daughter, Katie, 62, from his previous marriage to Marion Marshall, and has been married to Jill St. John since 1990.
Despite not being her biological father, Wagner and Natasha have maintained a profound and enduring bond. Reflecting on their relationship in a past interview, Natasha expressed her gratitude for the support she received during difficult times:
«I was so lucky I had two dads who were deeply committed to raising me and helping me through. They were trying to pick up the pieces for us and stumble forward and find out what our life looked like after that.»
She further noted that the tragedy of losing her mother ultimately strengthened her connection with her stepfather, as he stepped into a dual role of both mother and father for her.
