Bunnie Xo has opened up about the type of parents she believes she and her husband, country music star Jelly Roll, will be to their future children. In a recent interview with E! News promoting her memoir 'Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic,' Bunnie shared her thoughts on their upcoming parenting journey.
"I think what these babies are going to get from J and I is more childlike parents," Bunnie stated. She explained that when they helped raise Jelly Roll's existing children, Bailee Ann and Noah Buddy, they were both in a period of personal growth and sobriety. "We grew with Bailee," she said. "This next set of children are going to get the kid versions of us, and we're going to get to live our childhoods through them."
The couple is actively planning to expand their family. Bunnie revealed they have secured a surrogate and she will soon begin IVF treatments. "Now that we’re finally stable financially and somewhat emotionally... we’re talking about the future—including growing our family," she wrote in her memoir.
While excited, Bunnie admitted nervousness about the IVF process, calling it "one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through." She expressed a desire to use her platform to support other women on similar journeys, believing her past experiences have prepared her to be a voice for others.
