New Season, New Prizes
CBS is preparing for a robust autumn lineup, bringing back a variety of beloved daytime programs. Leading the charge is The Price Is Right, which returns on September 21 for its 20th season with Drew Carey at the helm. This year introduces a fresh element dubbed “Wild Wheel Wednesday.”
According to the official network statement, the stakes are being raised significantly:
“During the Showcase Showdown, contestants will have the chance to win not only over $100,000, but also a special prize chosen by Drew, making every spin of the Big Wheel even more thrilling.”
The season will also feature a wide range of thematic episodes, including broadcasts dedicated to Halloween, Veteran’s Day, Earth Day, Pride, and the holiday season.
Game Shows and Soap Operas Return
In addition to The Price Is Right, host Wayne Brady will return to Let’s Make a Deal, which will debut an engaging new segment titled “Cash Course.” Daytime soap opera staples, including The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, are also set to continue their long-standing runs with new storylines.
