Music icon and frontman of The Four Seasons, Frankie Valli, has officially addressed widespread speculation regarding his potential retirement. Contrary to recent claims suggesting he is stepping away from the stage, the singer confirmed that he remains active in his career.
The confusion arose after his brother, Bobby Valli, posted on social media suggesting that the 92-year-old performer was set to retire after a six-decade tenure in the music industry. However, Frankie Valli’s longtime representative, Victoria Varela, quickly set the record straight, stating, «He is not retired. This is false.»
Valli himself took to social media to reassure his fanbase, personally writing, «In spite of what you might have heard, I am not retired.»
Health Prioritization
The speculation followed a difficult decision earlier this year when Valli canceled his remaining concert dates for 2024. At the time, he emphasized his need to prioritize his well-being, stating, «I’ve decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health.»
Publicist Victoria Varela clarified that the choice to cancel rather than postpone the shows was made to respect ticket holders. She noted that Valli did not want to drag out the process of constant rescheduling, preferring to focus on his recovery so that he could eventually return to the stage under better circumstances.

«You should be doing it out of the fact that you love it, and it’s the most important thing in your life. If I had not become successful, I’d probably still be working in some little bar. I love music that much.»
