Kayla Nicole has seemingly referenced her former relationship with Travis Kelce, describing it as a case of "right person, wrong time." The fitness influencer and sports reporter made the comments during a TikTok Live interview.
When asked why a past relationship ended, Nicole replied, "Could be compatibility issues. Right person, wrong time." She and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end dated on and off from 2017 until 2022.
During the interview, host Ace Greene attempted to set Nicole up, prompting her to list her top requirement for a new partner: "having a job." Since her breakup with Kelce, who is now engaged to Taylor Swift, Nicole has spoken openly about receiving significant online backlash from fans.
"I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn’t impact me," she said in a 2024 podcast interview, noting the criticism is "nothing to do with me."
