Sarah Ferguson's current location is unknown following the arrest of her ex-husband, the former Prince Andrew. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on Thursday, February 19, on suspicion of "misconduct in public office" at the Sandringham estate.

Ferguson, 66, had continued to live with Andrew at Royal Lodge in Windsor despite their 1996 divorce. Following their recent eviction from that home, a source indicated she planned to move into a separate property to "forge an independent life." As of late last month, it was understood she might spend time overseas while considering her next steps.

Andrew's arrest is connected to a police investigation into whether he disclosed confidential information from his role as a trade envoy in email correspondence with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Released emails appear to show Andrew forwarding official visit reports and a "confidential brief" on Afghanistan to Epstein.

Both Andrew and Ferguson have faced scrutiny over their relationships with Epstein. Ferguson previously apologized for accepting Epstein's financial help, calling it a "terrible error of judgment," though later leaked emails showed private apologies to him.

A representative for the former Duchess of York had no comment on her current whereabouts. Suggestions she might move in with her daughters, Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie, have been dismissed.
