A Rescheduled Celebration

Music fans in Hershey, Pennsylvania, were treated to an extraordinary spectacle as Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan took over the Hersheypark Stadium on Sunday, July 19. The event, which had been delayed by 24 hours due to inclement weather, served as the second of only two exclusive joint performances scheduled by the pair this summer, following their initial show in Nashville.


Thomas Rhett’s High-Energy Opener

Following sets by supporting acts Emily Ann Roberts and Kashus Culpepper, Thomas Rhett launched his performance at 7:30 p.m. His 17-song setlist was packed with fan favorites, including:

  • “Make Me Wanna” (2014)
  • “T-Shirt” (2016)
  • “What’s Your Country Song” (2021)

During the set, the 36-year-old artist surprised the audience by debuting an unreleased acoustic ballad titled “Sky Fall,” a track he revealed was written only a few weeks prior to the show.


Niall Horan Takes the Stage

At 9:15 p.m., Rhett transitioned the stage to his longtime friend and golfing partner, Niall Horan. The 32-year-old former One Direction member maintained the evening's momentum with his own 17-song performance, featuring hits such as “This Town,” “Slow Hands,” and “Nice to Meet Ya,” alongside tracks from his most recent project, Dinner Party.


An Unforgettable Encore Collaboration

The concert reached its peak at 10:30 p.m. when Rhett rejoined Horan for an extensive five-song encore. The two artists performed duets on “Heaven,” “Die a Happy Man,” and their studio collaboration “Old Tricks.”

“This is one of the highlights of my career,” Rhett remarked regarding the experience of sharing the stage with Horan.

The duo also delighted the crowd with a cover of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” with Horan noting its massive popularity. The night concluded with a powerful performance of the One Direction classic “Steal My Girl,” accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display.


Future Tour Plans

This event falls under the umbrella of Rhett’s The Soundtrack of Life Tour, which is set to continue through October. Meanwhile, Niall Horan is preparing to launch his Dinner Party Live on Tour in Europe this September, with a return to the U.S. planned for 2027.
