The news was shared on Monday, May 18, through an emotional statement posted to his Instagram account:

“The tears may never stop flowing. It is with the most indescribable sadness that we share Patriotic Kenny has passed. He experienced the most profound love and was Earth’s bright light.”

The tribute emphasized that his final moments were peaceful and surrounded by loved ones. His family has requested that any memorial donations be directed toward the Patriotic Kenny Foundation, a nonprofit organization he established to assist veterans, ensuring his mission continues.


The Rise of an Internet Icon

Jary, a U.S. Navy veteran, became an unlikely social media sensation alongside his neighbor, Amanda Kline. Together, they produced heartwarming and inspirational content that resonated with millions, earning Jary a dedicated following of over 3 million people on TikTok and nearly 1 million on Instagram.

In March, Jary transparently shared his health journey with his audience after a sudden hospitalization led to his diagnosis. He addressed his followers with characteristic grace:

“I’m home from the hospital and I feel a lot better — not bad at all. But also, I would like to tell you that I’ve got stage 4 lung cancer. So that’s the way it goes. I mean, we can’t live forever. But I love you all, fans.”
