A spokesperson for the department confirmed that the specific allegation involving a Las Vegas motel room was never brought to the attention of local law enforcement.
Details of the Allegations
The BBC investigation, published on July 29, includes several testimonies from women accusing the 54-year-old performer of sexual assault and harassment. One individual, referred to as Isabel, alleges that in 2002, when she was 17, Leto invited her into a motel bathroom in Las Vegas. She described the encounter, stating:
«I don’t think there were many words exchanged and he opened the shower curtain and started kissing me»
Isabel further claimed that the actor forced her to engage in a sexual act before she managed to leave the premises. Additionally, the documentary features an account from a former model named Alex, who alleged that in 2013, Leto subjected her to verbal threats of sexual violence while she was visiting his hotel room in London.
Denial from the Artist
Jared Leto has firmly denied every claim presented in the documentary. In an official statement provided on Wednesday, his representatives expressed:
