Real Housewives of New York City star Sai De Silva has publicly responded to news that her estranged husband, David Craig, filed for divorce. The 45-year-old shared a message on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 4th.
"Thank you for the kindness, grace, and support so many of you have shown me," she wrote. "I'm overwhelmed by all your messages and it truly means more than you know. My heart is with my children, and my focus is on giving them as much stability and love as possible."
De Silva added, "Living life publicly isn't always easy, but it's a reminder that we should all lead with compassion. You never really know what someone is navigating behind the scenes."
Us Weekly confirmed Craig filed for divorce in New York on April 2nd, after nearly ten years of marriage. The couple met in 2009 and married in 2017. They share two children: daughter London, born in 2011, and son Rio, born in 2017.
In a 2024 podcast appearance, De Silva discussed the strain reality TV can place on a relationship. "I feel like when you put your relationship out there, people come to scrutinize and judge you," she said. "My relationship is not open for judgment."
While Craig made occasional appearances on RHONY, De Silva often obscured his face on her social media, stating those platforms were her professional space. She emphasized his full support despite his desire for privacy. Craig has not yet publicly commented on the divorce filing.
