The Challenge Begins
The fifth season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test has assembled an eclectic mix of reality television personalities, professional athletes, and actors. These participants traveled to Malaysia to endure intense training simulations directed by a cadre of former Special Forces operators. The roster features notable figures such as former politician George Santos, Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi, and Collin Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame.
The Initial Hurdle
The premiere episode immediately tested the resolve of the recruits with a high-stakes aerial exercise: jumping headfirst from a helicopter into the sea, followed by a rapid swim to a nearby dock. While a majority of the cast managed to navigate the challenge, the physical demands proved insurmountable for some.
Early Exit
Brandi Glanville, known for her appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, became the first contestant to leave the series following an injury sustained during the initial tasks.
Reflecting on her departure, Glanville noted in an interview: «I’m, like, so proud that I just didn’t give up, and I just didn’t want to be the first one out. Obviously no one really wants to be. I wanted to prove to my kids I could do it, but I had to go to the doctor. I was done. But I think that this still proves to the kids that I was kind of a badass.»
As the season progresses, viewers continue to watch which recruits have the grit to remain in the competition and who will be forced to quit next.
