Actress Tori Spelling, four of her children, and three of their friends were hospitalized on Thursday, April 2nd, after a car crash in Temecula, California. According to TMZ, the accident occurred when another driver, allegedly speeding, ran a red light and struck Spelling's vehicle.
Law enforcement sources reported that deputies responded to the scene shortly before 6 p.m. Photos from the incident show significant damage to the rear of Spelling's car and the front of the other vehicle involved.
Spelling and all seven children were transported to a hospital with injuries including cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions. Sources indicated that everyone is now okay and suggested Spelling's defensive driving may have helped prevent more serious injuries.
No arrests were made immediately following the crash, and an investigation was ongoing as of Saturday. A representative for Spelling confirmed the incident to People magazine.
