Podcaster Bobbi Althoff has publicly responded to the barrage of online hate she receives regarding her divorce and parenting. In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, April 8, the 28-year-old mother of two addressed her critics directly.
"I promise you guys, I hate myself more than you could ever hate me," Althoff told her 8.2 million followers. She challenged the narrative that she desired a broken home for her children, Isla, 3, and Luca, 5, whom she shares with ex-husband Cory Althoff.
Althoff recounted receiving extreme messages, including wishes for her death. She concluded by advising critics to focus on their own lives, suggesting their behavior stems from their own unhappiness.
In a recent PEOPLE interview, Althoff mentioned keeping her new relationship private due to the toxic online environment. She emphasized having a positive co-parenting relationship with her ex, stating their daughters now have "two happy homes."
