Sandra Bullock has officially joined Instagram. The Oscar-winning actress made her first post on Tuesday, sharing a video of herself making a margarita with the caption "Midnight somewhere...," a nod to a famous scene from the 1998 film 'Practical Magic'.

Her arrival on the platform was quickly celebrated by friends and co-stars. Sarah Paulson enthusiastically commented, "There she is!!!!", while Jennifer Aniston jokingly welcomed her via Instagram Stories, saying, "Someone we really all love very much just joined Instagram... It sucks! You're going to love it..."

While Bullock hasn't explicitly stated her reason for joining, her debut coincides with the promotional campaign for the upcoming sequel 'Practical Magic 2'. She and co-star Nicole Kidman recently appeared at the Warner Bros. CinemaCon panel to tease the film. Kidman hinted at returning elements like "midnight margaritas" and "jumping off the roof," promising a fun story where "our past [is] catching up with us."

Directed by Susanne Bier, the sequel will see Bullock and Kidman reprise their roles as the Owens sisters, joined by new cast members Joey King, Lee Pace, and Maisie Williams. The film is scheduled for release on September 11.

Bullock's return to the public eye follows a hiatus after the passing of her partner, Bryan Randall, in August 2023.
