New information has emerged regarding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of 'Today' show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. Initial reports indicated her family was alerted after she missed an in-person service at her local Arizona church. It has now been clarified that Nancy, since the pandemic, gathered with neighbors to watch a virtual service from her daughter's New York church, Good Shepherd.
When Nancy did not appear for this regular viewing and could not be reached, her friends contacted her daughter, Annie. The Good Shepherd community has held a prayer vigil and continues to pray for her safe return. Savannah Guthrie remains in Arizona with her family, pleading for the public's help and asserting their belief that their mother is still out there.
Authorities have not named any suspects and are urging anyone with information to contact the FBI or the Pima County Sheriff's Office.
